What are your services like?

Our Sunday morning service (we call it our “gathering”) is driven by our belief that God most clearly manifests His presence when the church meets together. Because of this belief we make three things a priority when we gather together- prayer to God, music to God, and studying the Word of God. 

On Sunday mornings we meet for one hour to do these three things. Our prayers are honest and sincere. Our music is not directed at being contemporary or traditional, but instead on being a means in which people can fully express their love and devotion to God (whether the songs are old or new). Our preaching is biblical and relevant, with the goal of helping people know better what God wants from their lives. We are not flashy or showy, but we do our best to honor God when we come together. 

At Creekside we really want to meet you and so we hope you will come find out about our services for yourself.

When do you have your services? 

Our weekly services are on Sunday mornings from 9 -10. 

We also have Connect Groups that meet on various days and times throughout the week. 

Where are you located? 

Currently we share a building with another church – Christ Community Church. Check out our time and location.

How does sharing a building with another church work? 

God has given us an amazing piece of property in North Wilsonville. Someday we will build on it, but for now we are grateful for the opportunity to share a building with another church. We believe that it is a financially responsible decision. We also believe that it  paints a wonderful picture of how Jesus can and should bring unity between churches, even churches of differing denominations. 

But really, how does sharing a building work? 

On Sunday mornings it operates much like a church with two services. We have our service at 9am and they start their service at 11am. In between their is plenty of time for the people who attended our service to hang out and plenty of time for the people from their church to set things up for the next service. 

For non-Sunday morning events we have a shared calendar. If there are no events on the calendar then the other church is free to use whatever space they need. Christ Community Church has even been kind enough to allow us to have fulltime office space within the building. 

What should I wear? 

Honestly, dress comfortably. Need us to be more specific? People wear everything from jeans and a t-shirts to dresses and collared shirts.

Yes. You can listen to our Sunday sermons on this site or you can download them on iTunes. 

Can I listen to your music online? 

Not at this time. It is something we are working towards being able to offer.
